HELP & SUPPORT

Everything You Need to Know

It is recommended to have a general veterinary check-up performed at least once a year in apparently healthy pets. During this visit, their vaccinations are also updated. In the case of pets older than 7 years, it is suggested to have check-ups every 6 to 12 months. If your pet suffers from any illness, the frequency of consultations will be determined according to their specific condition.
The vast majority of veterinary procedures are safe. In our hospital, we have rigorous pre-anesthetic protocols and the necessary equipment to minimize risks and prevent complications during any intervention.
Just like in humans, good oral hygiene in pets is essential to prevent diseases. Regular dental cleaning helps to avoid problems such as bad breath, tooth loss, abscesses, and even heart conditions resulting from oral infections.
Fleas and ticks not only cause discomfort but can also transmit serious diseases. It is essential to see the veterinarian as soon as possible to start appropriate treatment and administer preventive products that keep your pet protected.
The ideal age for sterilization depends on each species and even the individual development of the animal. It is not recommended to do it too early, as it could affect their long-term health. The best thing to do is to go for a medical evaluation to determine if your pet is already a candidate for this procedure.
